Crochet tree centerpiece

I wanted a little bit of sweetness to put on my kitchen island for the season, and I came up with this crochet cone tree.
I have seen all of the lovely burlap and yarn trees, but wanted something a little bit different.  I had a bunch of crochet trims on hand and some little doilies.
I painted a styrofoam cone white and let it dry.  Then, I just hot glued little bits of this and that until I liked it.  I have some broken earrings on this and a glass prism.  The topper is a little snowflake that I painted silver.
I had this old fluted cake pan and just filled it with sparkly silver ornaments.  I sat it on top of a jadeite green plate and I think it looks just right.  A little bit sparkly and a little bit cottagey.  Just think how cute a bunch of these would be lined up down the center of a table with greenery.

This little project didn't cost anything since I had it all on hand.  Free is the best price!!  Thanks for spending time with me today,  xoxo Jean
